
Dr. Inna Lazar
Dr. Inna Lazar is a leading expert on primary eye health and one of the country’s most sought-after experts in the treatment of dry eye disease. She earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University) with a focus on advanced ocular surface disease and myopia management. Soon after, Dr. Lazar founded Greenwich Eye Care along with the Dry Eye Institute, a specialty practice that offers the most coveted, technologically-advanced drop-less treatments for dry eye.
Lazar was named one of “America’s Best Eye Doctors” by Newsweek in 2022 and featured in Fairfield County’s Business Journal “40 Under 40 Best Doctors” in 2021. Lazar recently received an “Ambassador of Sight” award from the National Lions Team, a prestigious, international non-profit organization that aids people with eye care issues and eyeglass needs.
As a specialized eye care professional and KOL, Lazar uses her social platforms and the podcast (Transparent Show) she co-founded to educate her followers on unexpected, non-traditional eye health topics. She speaks openly about medical findings; the benefits and dangers of ingredients in many big-name brands; eye health as it relates to aesthetics in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and much more. Dr. Marc Bloomenstein
Dr. Marc R. Bloomenstein is a 1990 graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a degree in Biology. He received his optometric degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1994. After graduation, Dr. Bloomenstein finished a residency in secondary ophthalmic care at the Barnet Dulaney Eye Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He received his fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry in December, 1998 and is a founding member of the Optometric Council on Refractive Technology.
Currently, Dr. Bloomenstein is at the Schwartz Laser Eye Center. Aside from lecturing and publishing on numerous anterior segment and refractive topics, Dr. Bloomenstein is on the editorial board of Primary Care of Optometry and Contemporary Optometry. Dr. Bloomenstein served as the President of the Arizona Optometric Association, as well as an Optometric Advisor to STAAR Surgical and Medtronics Solan. Dr. Bloomenstein is the President of the Board of the Arizona Optometric Charitable Foundation. Dr. Bloomenstein does not have any financial interest in products discussed in his lectures.


Dr. Steven Ferruci
Dr. Steven Ferrucci, a 1994 graduate of the New England College of Optometry, completed his Residency in Primary Care/Hospital Based/Geriatric Optometry at the Sepulveda VA Hospital in Sepulveda CA. He is currently Chief of Optometry at the Sepulveda VA Ambulatory Care Center and Nursing Home. He is also the Residency Director at his sight, and a Professor at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University.
Dr. Ferrucci has lectured extensively, with a special interest in Diabetes, Diabetic Eye Disease, Age-Related Macular Degeneration, and Fluorescein Angiography. He has also published several articles in optometric journals, including The New England Journal of Optometry, Optometry and Vision Science, Optometry: Journal of The AOA and Review of Optometry. Currently, he serves on the Editorial Board for both Review of Optometry and Optometry Times. He is an active member in the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association, as well as a fellow in both the American Academy of Optometry and the Optometric Retinal Society.
